Theopolis “Theo” Roddy

Theo passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, with his loving wife Sandra of 36 years by his side. Theo was born in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, on May 26, 1955, to Ambrose and Ella Lee Roddy. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Sandra; children, Ereicka, Chris, and Andrae; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; six sisters, all from out-of-state, Irma Culberson, Jeanie Wells, Betty Abernathy, Dorothy Neal, Leslie Taylor, and Ann Winters, along with a truly close-knit wealth of relatives, friends, and community.

Theo’s “Celebration of Life” will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024. Viewing will be at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. at Beacon Avenue Church of God, 7225 Beacon Avenue S., 98108. Pastor Bishop Ivory and Brenetta Harris. Officiant: Bishop Vicky L. Shannon. Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Directors in Kent, WA, can receive flowers and donations.

Interment will be at Abbey View Cemetery in Brier, WA, after services.
