Two-year-old Toddler Among Victims Of Central Area Shooting

An approximately 2-year-old child was one of multiple victims in a shooting in the Central District Sunday afternoon.

According to the Seattle Police Department, at 3:22 p.m., multiple witnesses called 911 to report a shooting near the intersection of 23rd Avenue South and South Jackson Street. The suspects reportedly approached a business parking lot on foot from 23rd Avenue and then fired toward the east into the parking lot. Three adult males and an approximately 2-year-old child were struck by gunfire. All the victims were transported to hospitals in personal vehicles before police or Seattle Fire Medics arrived.

Crime Scene Investigations Detectives responded to process the scene for evidence, and Homicide Detectives responded and are investigating.
