Urban Impact, an organization that uses entrepreneurship as a tool for breaking the cycle of poverty, is at it again! For the 6th year in a row they are holding their exciting event Sharks at the Beach.
Inspired by Shark Tank, the popular tv show, Sharks at The Beach is a pitch event where local entrepreneurs present their ideas in front of a live audience and a panel of expert judges for seed capital. The event serves aspiring entrepreneurs in Seattle’s under-resourced communities by providing intensive business plan training, in partnership with Seattle Pacific University’s Social Venture Planning Class.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Thurs., Apr. 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the New Holly Gathering Hall, 7054 32nd Ave S., Seattle 98118.
