Verna Elizabeth Williams, born to Willie and Florence White in Berea, KY, on October 7, 1926, was called to her eternal rest on August 21, 2024, at the age of 97. She is survived by her daughter, Mona L. Williams; her sister, Mary Henry; her granddaughter, Leah M. Williams (Armez Jackson); great-grandson, Kaesem Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services were on September 10 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 124 – 21st Ave., Seattle, WA 98122.
