Tac City came out firing in a dominant 31–0 shutout victory over 5 Star. Troy Taylor led the scoring attack with two touchdowns, while Alonzo Kelly, June Hayden, and Milton White Jr. each added a touchdown of their own. Tac City controlled the game from start to finish, earning a convincing win behind a strong offensive performance and a stifling defense.

Tac City 8U 21, HEIR 7
Tac City 8U delivered a complete team performance in a 21–7 victory over HEIR. MVP running back Israel Cornelious was unstoppable, rushing for an incredible 180 yards and 2 TDs. Kobe Mchenry added 50 rushing yards and 12 tackles, while quarterback Andrew Gilpatrick Jr. went 1-for-1 with a touchdown pass to Amanuel Taylor, who took it 65 yards to the house!
But this game was won on the defensive side of the ball. Ezra Maldonado recorded 10 tackles, Amir Khamlue-Jackson wreaked havoc with 5 sacks, and Ray Aiulu Luli and the starting defensive line consistently lived in the backfield.
Then, with the game on the line, Antonio Reyes Jr. came up BIG with a 4th-quarter red-zone interception to seal the victory!
Benson 8U 30, Benson 7U 0
After a tough 0–7 loss to Tac City 8U in Week 1, the nationally known Benson 8U NewWaveBoyz came into Week 2 determined to make a statement. Despite having two touchdowns called back and leaving Week 1 feeling like they had let one slip away, the 8U squad responded exactly how a young team should—with focus, energy and execution.
In this in-house matchup against the Benson Bruins 7U, the NewWaveBoyz took control after halftime and turned it on offensively, scoring four touchdowns in the second half on a running clock to finish with a dominant 30–0 shutout.
Quarterback Raynen Royce Alejaga led the way, completing 3-of-5 passes while scrambling for 110 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Kay’Vion Rogers added 2 touchdowns of his own, while Elijah Elmore broke loose for a huge 85-yard touchdown run, providing another explosive play for the NewWaveBoyz offense.
While the offense made plenty of noise, the NewWaveBoyz defense was just as impressive, controlling the game and keeping the Bruins 7U out of the end zone. Elijah Elmore and Jaidyn Hanson were among the defensive standouts, helping lead a disciplined unit that battled from start to finish.
After the game, Assistant Coach and Defensive Coordinator Coach Ray said
“This group is really starting to understand what it means to play together. We talk about THE WE and THE US—not I. The scoreboard is great, but what makes me proud is seeing these kids execute, communicate, stay disciplined and compete for each other,” said Ray. “They’re 8-year-old kids, so they’re going to make mistakes, correct them and continue developing. At the end of the day we value keeping the Main Thing is The main Thing, “THE KIDS.”
Tac City 7U 13, FW Hawks 12
The Tac City 7U “So Icy Boyz” battled all the way to the final whistle, pulling out a thrilling 13–12 victory over the FW Hawks!
The offense came up with big plays when it mattered most. Romeo Cromoga ripped off a huge 45-yard run, setting the tone for the Tac City attack. Then Quincey Hull broke loose for an explosive 60-yard touchdown, with Terynce Bravenec coming through with the crucial conversion. Bravenec wasn’t finished, punching in another rushing touchdown to give Tac City the lead and ultimately secure the victory.
With big plays, timely execution and a whole lot of fight, the So Icy Boyz held on for the hard-fought 13–12 win!
Renton Rangers 40, Royal T 0
For the second straight week, the Renton Rangers BoomSquad put together a complete team performance, rolling to a convincing 40–0 shutout over Royal T.
The offense wasted no time getting started, opening the game with a two-play, 70-yard scoring drive. Lonzell King III broke loose for a 40-yard run before Dondre Dowlen finished the drive with a 30-yard touchdown run to make it 6–0.
The defense immediately answered the call, shutting down Royal T and giving the offense another opportunity from the 4-yard line. Malakai Armstead punched it in for his team’s second touchdown, putting the BoomSquad up 12–0 in the first quarter.
With one half of the defensive duo, Keneti “Rhino” Finau, sidelined due to illness, Otulau Kamoto stepped up and led the defensive charge. Aubre Jones, Hassan Finch III, Malakai Armstead and Siaosi Ryder joined Kamoto in keeping Royal T off the scoreboard and helping deliver the shutout.
The BoomSquad offense continued to pile on points throughout the game. Dowlen added another touchdown to finish with two, while King found the end zone twice more. Nasir Rogers and Mason McClinton each added a touchdown to round out the scoring.

Benson 10U 55, HEIR 9U 0
The Benson 10U squad delivered a dominant performance from start to finish, cruising to a 55–0 shutout victory over HEIR 9U.
The offense controlled the line of scrimmage all game, with the offensive line consistently creating running lanes and giving Apollo Neloms time to make big plays. Londyn Rush and the rest of the offensive line stood out with strong, physical blocking that helped set the tone.
Neloms was named Player of the Game, putting together an outstanding performance with 181 rushing yards, a 4-for-6 passing performance, and 3 total touchdowns.
The defense was equally dominant, completely shutting down the HEIR offense and keeping them off the scoreboard. Orian Howard and Matthew Lata each came away with a fumble recovery, while the entire defensive unit consistently made plays and racked up tackles throughout the game.

Tac City put together a dominant two-way performance, cruising to a 19–0 shutout victory over 5 Star behind explosive offense and a defense that refused to give up a point.
At quarterback, Izaiah “McScooty” “Bub” Bonaparte led the offense with his legs and his arm, rushing 5 times for 106 yards while completing 7-of-13 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown. His favorite target, LJ Oa, came up big with 2 receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown, while also making his presence felt on defense with 7 tackles and a pass breakup.
Abraham Galo’paz added a touchdown on the ground, helping Tac City keep the scoreboard moving.
But the story of the game was the defense. Donte Khamlue was a force all over the field, finishing with 11 total tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks. Jehdae Bryant added 9 tackles, 3 TFLs and a sack, helping lead a defensive front that kept 5 Star completely off the scoreboard.
HEIR 11U 26, Benson 11U 0
The highly anticipated rematch between the HEIR Young Kingz and Benson Bruins looked completely different the second time around.
After a much closer preseason matchup, HEIR showed just how much the team has developed, controlling the game from the opening whistle and rolling to a dominant 26–0 Week 2 victory.
The biggest difference was up front, where HEIR’s offensive line delivered its best performance of the season. Pulling guards and tackles consistently opened running lanes while the unit’s timing, physicality and execution allowed HEIR’s playmakers to make plays all afternoon.
James Sears IV led the scoring attack with two rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown, putting together a complete offensive performance. Isaiah Johnson Jr. provided multiple explosive plays at receiver and continued to be a major threat whenever the ball came his way. Quarterback Liam Bartlett showcased his arm talent, connecting with multiple receivers throughout the game, while Adriel Soron stepped in at quarterback for a play and delivered a touchdown pass, showing the versatility of the Young Kingz.
Nathaniel Smiley Jr. made an impact on both sides of the ball, making key catches offensively while displaying strong route running and yards-after-catch ability. On defense, Smiley recovered a Benson fumble and returned it for a touchdown to help put the finishing touches on the shutout.
Defensively, HEIR was just as dominant.
Roczen Scacco delivered one of the biggest hits of the day, while Austin Jackson brought the physicality with multiple big hits, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Johnson continued to lock down his side of the field, making it difficult for Benson to find success through the air.
Up front, Peyton Foxx and Caleb Haye consistently disrupted the Bruins’ offense. Foxx recorded multiple tackles in the backfield, while Haye repeatedly won at the line of scrimmage and spent much of the afternoon creating havoc in the Benson backfield.
The linebacker group of Cortez Foster, Johnny Johnson Jr. and Jason Doelman brought constant pressure, shedding blocks and disrupting plays behind the line of scrimmage. Their work up front helped create opportunities for Carter Boyce, who came downhill and delivered several big-time tackles.
Nainoa Alexander also showcased his versatility, lining up at multiple positions and finding ways to contribute wherever he was needed.
From the offensive line’s dominance to a defense that completely shut down Benson, the Young Kingz looked like a vastly improved team from the one Benson saw earlier this year.
This wasn’t just another win—it was a statement about HEIR’s development, physicality and the progress this group is making.
