Garfield’s Tari Eason scored a game-high 24 points and 14 rebounds as the Bulldogs defeated O’Dea 69-44 in the WIAA State Boys 3A basketball championship game Saturday night at the Tacoma Dome.
The Bulldogs went on a 14-3 run in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach, as they claimed their second state title in three years.
The Bulldog’s Koren Johnson added 16 points, while Jaylin Stewart chipped in 11 points, and Kendall Munson finished the game with 10 points to help lead Garfield to victory. Paolo Banchero had 16 points to lead O’Dea.
