Renton BoomSquad came out and dominated Federal Way 41–0, with the defense continuing to be dominant to the fullest. Led by Otulau Kamoto, Malakai Armstead, and Messiah Reynolds, the defense set the tone all game, with some great tackles also coming from DaVinci Jenkins and Cherith Wallace. On offense, things are really starting to cook! Dondre “21 Problems” Dowlen is in prime-time form, while Lonzell King III and Malakai Armstead continue to run the ball with a combination of power and speed. Dondre and Lonzell each scored 2 touchdowns, while Nasir Rogers got in on the action with a touchdown run of his own. With only 3 games left and this team playing at a playoff level, now it’s time to see if I can raise this team up one more level before the playoffs start. We still have to clean up the turnovers on offense, but overall, this team is showing exactly what it’s capable of.

12U:
HEIR 11U 62, B12 6
The 11U HEIR YK delivered a statement performance against the 12U B12 Bearcats, overcoming an early 30-yard interception return for a touchdown to roll to a dominant 62–6 victory. After falling behind 6–0, HEIR responded with 62 unanswered points and more than 450 rushing yards. James Sears and Isaiah Johnson led the explosive ground attack, each rushing for three touchdowns, while Cortez Foster, Nathaniel Smiley and Adriel Soron each added long scoring runs. Soron provided the longest touchdown of the day with a 70-yard burst, while Sears and Johnson consistently broke through the B12 defense for big plays.
HEIR finished with nine rushing touchdowns from five different players, with eight of those scores covering at least 28 yards. The performance showcased the team’s speed, physicality and depth, as HEIR consistently created running lanes and overwhelmed an older 12U opponent at the point of attack. Despite competing against bigger players, the 11U squad never let the early mistake affect its confidence, instead responding with one of its most dominant performances of the season. With 62 unanswered points and an explosive rushing attack that B12 could not contain, HEIR YK continues to establish itself as a dangerous force in the division.
