NWPJFL 12U Division 

Benson Bruins 58, Five-Star 0 

The Bruins opened their season by scoring eight touchdowns against Five-Star, Benson’s Zeph Taamu was a perfect 4-4 on extra point attempts. 

CD Panthers 41, Heir 11U 7 

CD Panther Quarterback De’Vion Frazier threw three touchdown passes, and returned an interception for a touchdown to help lead the Panthers to a 41-7 win. 

HEIR 12U 41, Gridiron 8 

HEIR 12U was clicking on all cylinders, as they smothered Gridiron on defense, while scoring at a rapid pace. On their first defensive possession, HEIR’s Justin Suega recorded an interception. HEIR Quarterback Cordae Norling started the game with a touchdown pass to Dash Jones, running back Damariae Barrington scored two touchdowns, and Suega caught two touchdowns including the play of the day when he stiffed armed two players in route to the endzone. Norling also had a big day on the ground highlighted by a touchdown run of his own. 

B12 Bearcats 44, Renton Rangers 14 

The Bearcats offense put their full arsenal on display, scoring a game-high 44 points and defensively holding the Rangers to just two touchdowns in the season opener for both teams. 

NWPJFL 14U Division 

Lake Stevens 21, B12 Bearcats 12 

Lake Stevens’ three touchdowns helped push them past the Bearcats in the season opener. 

Gridiron 14, HEIR 13U 13 

The one-point separation between the two teams was the tale of this matchup, and once the clock struck triple zero’s Gridiron earned a 14-13 win to start the season. 

Benson Bruins 35, Five-Star 0 

Benson’s offensive line won the battle at the line of scrimmage which paved the way for quarterback Antoine Williams, Jr. to lead team to a great season-opening victory. Benson running back CJ Benning scored three times, while teammate Kemarjae Davis scored two touchdowns, including an interception return for a touchdown.
