I feel that Black people will never get equal time for the same crimes committed by other races because it’s always just been prejudice and judgment towards Black people I feel like that’s their way of just putting us in our place and it keep us out of society.

No, the system wasn’t really made for people of color in general and it’s made to put us there cause they make money as profit. And, its almost like slavery but they devised a system that does it for them, so I would say no on that one.

I don’t think other races will be equally sentenced for the same crimes as others because there has been so much racial prejudice and just discrimination over the years that it really can’t change.

No, I don’t think that Black people will ever get the same amount of time that White people get for the same crimes committed. I think this because it’s just a system that has been set in place for so long it’s very hard to break a cycle. Its almost like an addict and you try to show them the right way and they just keep going in the wrong way. I guess we’ve been displayed as negative rather than positive and just the opposite, White people have been displayed as positive and so when you already have a mindset on negativity its hard to not want to see the good in us.

Will we be treated the same? Will we be looked at equally? I say no! We’ve always been looked at as inferior. We’ve always been looked at as outcasts, society doesn’t want us in the picture, they don’t want us to be alive anyway, so by any means they will do what they can to maintain the status quo.

We don’t get the same time for the crime and the way I feel that’s all I have to say.
