How Would You Assess Dr. Ben Carson’s Time In Office As Head Of The Department Of Housing And Urban Development?

Marie Jacobs…
I’m thinking that he’s not actually helping the Black or Brown people as I believed that he would. I think he is more up there for himself and when he was running for office, he made it seem like he would be helping us, but he is just helping himself.  You don’t hear about him, now he is on Trump’s agenda,  so as far as him assisting anyone I don’t think he’s doing that.

Erica Brewer…
So, my opinion so far is that he isn’t really doing much, what I see as far as the programs that are out there to help people are slowly leaving. I was laid off from family services for the school district a year ago. Last year there were fifty family service workers, this year there is only 25.  So yeah, our programs are slowly leaving. One of the programs Seattle Housing Authority had that help people buy homes, that’s been eliminated, so I just don’t see that he’s doing anything.

John Trotter…
I don’t feel like Ben Carson has lived up to what he should be. You know I personally am praying that God will overtake this, because he’s the overseer of everything so he needs do his thing through Carson. I don’t think he’s a bad man and I don’t particularly think he’s a good man, but he can be alright if God takes over.

Jeremiah Vaughn…
If his year is indicative of his mind on a scale from 1-10 I’m giving him a 4. I can’t understand how a man who succeeded in brain surgery could be so clueless in other fields of thought.  His position on the general public you would think he’s a follower of Ayn Rand.  From someone who proposed to have struggled he possesses no empathy for the poor. But that is this administration.

Janae Barkeley…
What little I do know of the man for such a seemingly smart man he is not representing the people when it comes to his title.  I found that he believes in less is better and cutting very important programs that help the less fortunate plays into the elites and the rich agenda.  Being head of Housing and Urban Development  he is suppose to be working to strengthen low income populations, but just like the administration his work to help the middle class and poor is on the back burner, not a priority.
