Do You Believe The Black Vote Can Determine The 2020 Presidency?

Medina…
“I think individual votes do not matter in the American election because it is all electoral colleges and its based on your state but I think individuals keeping up with their politics, especially local, matters a lot more than the presidential election.”

Mansa…
“Until they alleviate the electoral college the popular vote will only be symbolic. Even if every African American did vote and made a significant impact, the electoral college will nullify it.”

Darryl…
“I feel last years votes, a lot of our peoples votes were pushed out because buses were pulled over because they were filled with minorities, trains were stopped, barracades were put out to stop people from voting. Voter suppression, I know that this year is going to be different, people are educating themselves about voting. I do believe the majority of Black folks will be voting this year and make an impact.”

James Bah…
“I believe the Black vote, both the African American and African, can determine the next presidency because if the young community actually gets out and votes and believes that their vote matters then we can have a mass affect.”

Proof…
“I think any time a Black person votes it gives importance to whatever we are voting for. Yes, our vote does matter.  I think we should stop thinking that our vote doesn’t matter and  think of as we do need to vote.  More people think about the presidency and not the local elections, the local elections is what can determine a lot in your area. But you know everybody thinks about the presidency and 45 is not real likeable.  So as a Black vote all of votes matter and I think we should be doing more to get votes on a local level and not just nationally”

Alonzo Boyles…
“Yes I do believe that the Black vote will make a difference, my point of view is the way things are going right now is not for everybody. I believe everybody has a say so in what they believe in and how they live. Whether they are gay, Black, Caucasian, any race you know we are all Americans.  Rich, poor we all should get the same opportunities.”
