Melvin Roberts was born on January 20, 1941, in Springer, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late John Combs and the late Delois Roberts.
Melvin is survived by his wife Jacqueline (Hollingsworth) Roberts of Mercer Island, WA, daughters Natalie Long and Gwen Brown, son Melvin Roberts Jr., brothers Arthur (Lynda) Harris, Donald J. (Janet) Hendon Sr., John (Judy) Combs, sister Eileen (Everett) Wigley and an abundance of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
