HEIR 7U got a hard-fought win in the trenches over Rise 8U. HEIR quarterback Khalil Ladd scored on a keeper followed by Knowledge Morgan’s successful extra point. Morgan then scored a touchdown of his own, followed by an extra point to lead HEIR. HEIR’s offensive line had great blocks and opened lanes for their playmakers. HEIR defenders James Hatfield, Aiden Papay, Adrian Piper, and Saint Burns all made huge tackles; while Ladd had an interception. The game closed out with Morgan recording a huge sack as HEIR 7U would win 14-6.

Benson got a great win over the NW Grizzlies with the game ending in the third quarter. Sio Ohi recovered with two onside kickoffs. Benson’s JB Failautusi threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns to Liam Brown. Brown returned the favor by throwing two touchdowns passes for 80 yards to Failautusi. Andrew Foushee had a rushing touchdown and recorded 4 tackles for loss in their shutout win over the Grizzlies 41-0.
