Heir Defeats OG Ducks In Battle Of West Coast Powerhouses

HEIR Apex Predators traveled down to California to battle the OG Ducks, as the top two teams on the West Coast took to the field in a highly anticipated national rival game.

HEIR started off slow giving up an early touchdown on the first play of the game to go down 0-7. However, their defense responded and didn’t allow another score the rest of the game and caused three turnovers.

HEIR quarterback Cordae Norling threw a touchdown to speedster Winston Cordis, while Marquis Tovia had a touchdown run and another that was called back.

Defensively, Dash Jones and Justin Suega both had interceptions in the 4th quarter to seal the game for Heir in this national matchup. Defensive ends Andrew Peapea and Noah Tarrant gave the opposing offense problems all night by making multiple sacks and tackles in the backfield.

Heir kicker Brody Robertson was named team MVP after an impressive performance with his leg.

Final score: 16-7

This week, HEIR 11U takes on the CD Panthers 12U at Judkins Park.
