In Loving Memory Of Jeremiah Beckwith, Jr.

Sunrise: February 3, 1954
Sunset: May 18, 2021

Jeremiah “Jerry” Beckwith, Jr. was born February 3, 1954 to Rosa Mae Beckwith and Jeremiah Beckwith, Sr. in Seattle, WA. He was educated in the Seattle and Bellevue Public School Systems. Beckwith lived a life dedicated to serving and giving to others in so many ways. God had a plan and Beckwith said, “Yes Lord!” Jerry heard God’s voice again say, “Well done, my good a faithful servant” on May, 18, 2021. So he closed his eyes and awoke with Jesus.

Beckwith (affectionately known as Daddy, Granddad, Pops, Jedidiah, Jer Bear, Husband) was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, godfather, and friend. He was a gifted musician, singer, director, teacher, mentor, cook, and  baker who did so much while holding down a fulltime job as a retail manager for over 30 years at Seattle University.

Beckwith was humble, loving, and kindhearted and in life received his flowers from the many family and friends who were blessed by him. He was a modern day Bible story; a living testimony of who God expects us to be. Beckwith was obedient to God’s call and helped others to live their own Bible story.

Beckwith was preceded in his homegoing by his parents Jeremiah Beckwith, Sr., and Rosa Mae Beckwith; his brothers Freddie L. Beckwith and Larry Bailey; niece Mariah Rose; and great nephew Shawn Frederick.
