NW Premier Junior Football 8U Scores And Highlights 9-11-19

Benson Bruins 46
Auburn Panthers 0
The 8U Bruins were unstoppable in their second game of the season, shutting out the Auburn Panthers 46-0. Speedy running back William Conroy, Jr. led the way with three touchdowns and quarterback Cordae Norling and wide receiver Dash Jones proved this squad is just as lethal in the air connecting on two touchdowns passes. Sosio Sekona also scored twice for the Bruins. The Bruins defense was impenetrable again this week and has not been scored on this season.

BGC Seahawks 18
Puget Sound Lancers 14
The 8U Seahawks found themselves a the battle against the Puget Sound Lancers. The Seahawk’s Isaiah Healy possessed a monster performance providing three touchdowns, a 24 yard run as well as a 45 run and 8 yard scamper to help his team maintain its momentum. The defense did an excellent job in holding the Lancers at bay to seal the win. From the Lancers point of view this was an anxiety filled game with everyone on their toes down to the last seconds. Marquis Tovia put the first touchdown on the board for the Lancers followed by Kartae James with two touchdowns. However his second touchdown was in the last minute of the game and would have given the Lancers the win only to have the sideline hit with a penalty causing the touchdown to called back. But the Lancers fought a great game the whole time.

253 Spartans 20
Beacon Hill Cowboys 12
Beacon Hill battled tough throughout the game against the 253 Spartans. Being outmanned they were worn down late in the game only to lose by 8 points. Their competitive nature kept them in the game. The Spartans came prepared this week and ran their playbook as expected. Great sportsmanship throughout the game by both teams.

Tahoma 13
Seatac Sharks 0
Both teams came into the contest with winning in mind, but in competition only one can prevail and Tahoma came out victorious in this battle. The Sharks were competitive and played with heart. The Tahoma defense stymied the Sharks with a shutout. It was a defensive minded game but the Tahoma offensive had other plans. Great game by both teams.
