Kenya was born to Mansfield Houston and Catherine Beierl-Houston. She attended Seattle Public Schools and graduated from Garfield High School in 1989.

At a early age, she loved camping, she loved her little sister Amanda, riding the ferry and nature hikes with her family. Kenya was Stevie Wonder’s biggest fan and loved music.

Kenya cherished her relationships with friends and family. We had a mutual love, respect and support for her. She will truly be missed. Kenya was a true advocate of educating our children, in lieu of flowers please send gifts of love to CAYA 119 23rd Ave., Seattle, WA 98112.
