Obituary – Fannie Lee Banks

Fannie Lee Banks

Fannie Lee Banks was born in Uniontown, AL on April 8, 1934. She migrated to Dayton, OH; then moved to Chicago, IL where she married her husband, Gabriel L. Bouldin. She raised 7 children there, and finally relocated to Seattle, WA in 1986.

Fannie was married to Gabriel L. Bouldin on June 12, 1953; they were married until his death in 1995.

Mrs. Bouldin worked as a nurse’s assistant while in Chicago. She retired and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Bouldin is survived by her children: Denise, Gabriel, Andre, Tyrone, Michelle and Heath; brother, Joe; sister, Frances; and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Cpl Keith Anthony Bouldin; her parents Robert Lane and Frances Banks, her sisters Amie, Rosanna, Mary Emma and Lougirtha; and her brothers Robert, Eli, Willie, and Felix.

The family of Mrs. Fannie Bouldin would like to thank Dr. Sarah Babineau, the Providence ElderPlace team, all of our extended family from Rockwell Gardens in Chicago, our friends here in Seattle, and everyone for their loving thoughts, well wishes, amazing support and condolences. We truly appreciate your kindness.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. this Sat., Sept. 9 at Holgate Church of Christ – 2600 S. Holgate St., Seattle, WA 98144.
