Seattle Police Detectives are searching for a suspect in an arson that took place last Thursday at a Beacon Hill church.
Witnesses began calling 911 just after 8 p.m. Thursday to report a fire at a church in the 7100 block of 42 Avenue South.
The Seattle Fire Department responded to the scene and arrived after the fire had already been extinguished.
Fire investigators spoke with witnesses who stated a person had thrown lit bottles of an unknown liquid at the building. The bottles caused minor damage to the exterior of the church. No one inside the church was injured.
The Seattle Police Department published a photo of the suspect, and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man.
