The Tacoma Majestics beat the Chicago Force 14 – 0 in a hard fought battle last Saturday night. With the win, the Majestics advance to the Western Division Conference championship game of the Independent Women’s Football League (IWFL) playoffs. The Majestics must now go on the road to face the Sacramento Sirens (11-0), the two-time defending IWFL champions, at Foothills High School on July 23. The winner of that game earns the Western Division Conference crown and moves on to play the winner of the Eastern Division Conference Championship. Tacoma comes into the game with a 10-1 record, and five straight shut-outs. The 2005 IWFL Championship Game will be held on August 6.
