The second game of the 3 vs 6 seed matchups was the 8U Ravens vs the 253 Spartans. This game was a battle on both sides of the ball for each team. The Spartans were the ones to capitalize on big plays that went for scores. After two short yardage touchdowns and a huge 30 yard one, the Spartans found themselves up 18 – 0 and set themselves up well for the next round. The Ravens got one last second half touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the strong start by the Spartans.
Auburn Panthers 12
BGC Seahawks 0
Auburn’s Vaalulu Mapautuli-Laumea #56 scored on a 9 yard run to give the Panthers at 6-0 lead at the half.
With 5:38 left in the third quarter, Auburn’s Deshawn Brown carries ball 30 yards to the 5-yard line. The play set-up a 1-yard run by Mapautuli-Laumea. Brown scored extra point as Auburn increased their lead to 13-0.
BGC looked to gain to momentum late in the third quarter, but the Panthers’ #12 recovered a fumble by the Seahawks at the 45-yard line. BGC forced a turnover on downs at the end of the third quarter and took possession at the Auburn 31.
BGC put up a good fight, but they just couldn’t overcome the size and physical play of the Panthers.

Beacon Hill Cowboys 0
Benson quarterback Cordae Norling delivered darts to Dash Jones and William Conroy Jr., while Sosaia Sekona scampered for two touchdowns providing the Bruins with a steady dose of running game. Kaiden Peteron’s touchdown was icing on the cake. The defense was stellar providing their fans with shutoff in these here playoffs. Do not get it twisted the Beacon Hill Cowboys are a quality and talent packed team or they would not be here. They played their hearts out in this game, with passion and grit and an applause is necessary.

The Panthers were dominant in this game, and look ready to make a deep run in the playoffs.
