Kids from The Central Area Youth Association (CAYA) were special guests of The Seattle Seahawks at their training camp this week.

The Unique VIP experience, courtesy of Safeway, included the kids gathering at the middle of field for a ceremonial coin toss with Seahawks head coach Pete Carrol. The kids also received a gift bag, a Seahawk jersey of their favorite player and attended a post-practice meet-and-greet with Seahawks defensive ends Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett, as well as tight end Jimmy Graham.

“This was a real big deal for these kids,” said CAYA executive director Joe Staton. “They’re getting a chance to meet some of their idols.”

“Not very many kids in the whole state get a chance like this, get to go out on the field and talk to the players, so they’ll remember this forever.”
