Seattle Schools to Hold Community Meeting on Addition at Dearborn Park Elementary

Seattle Public Schools will hold a community meeting on an addition project at Dearborn Park Elementary – 2820 South Orcas Street on Thurs., Feb. 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the school library. Construction is scheduled to begin on a 16,150 square foot addition at Dearborn Park Elementary in June 2005. The addition will house four new classrooms, a gym, commons area, music room with stage, and kitchen. The school design team will present the project and answer questions. The addition to Dearborn Park is part of the District’s long-range plan to modernize facilities included in the Building Excellence II Levy.
