Punk is not dead! We Are Best is a film from Sweden set in 1980’s Stockholm following the burgeoning friendship of three girls as they start a punk bad. With only one musician in the bunch, the teen girls discover their unique voice, style, and sense of girl power. The film feels very true to life for a tween and is a fun raucous adventure with three of your best girlfriends coming into their own.
The Seattle International Film Festival continues through June 8.
