HEIR 10U dominated on the offensive side of the ball were led by the offensive line who made crucial blocks for their playmakers. Quarterback Maddux Sua displayed his ability in the pocket as he threw a touchdown to his teammates Tyree Bellinger, Tayshawn Stephens, and Khye Sumlin. Running back Joseph Kennerly also had a great run for a touchdown to add to the offensive performance. The defense had an amazing performance as big-time hits, and multiple turnovers were on display. Both Bellinger and Tayshawn Stephens had interceptions. Jamari Miller had stripped the ball from an opposing player and returned it for a touchdown. HEIR would secure the victory 39-0 over the Grizzlies.
10U Parkland Raiders 20, 9U NW Grizzlies 13
The Parkland Raiders closed out a close win against the NW Grizzlies. MyKing Williams accounted for all three of the Raiders touchdowns. Linebacker Ezrahi Maifea was also making his presence known as he made a couple of big hits in the game as they would secure the win 20-13.
Benson Bruins 43, Renton Rangers 0
The Benson Bruins 10U proved that they are a force to be reckoned with in their game against the Renton Rangers. Braylon Brown was the game’s MVP as he would account for three touchdowns including an 80-yard punt return touchdown. The defense played a significant role as they would stifle the Rangers. Uluiva and Jayden Mendoza would each have a fumble recovery. Trip Johnson would score a touchdown, along with Reggie Brown who had his own individual touchdown. Brannon Uluiva would account for a couple of touchdowns. Savion Brown also would score a touchdown that would be assisted by an extra point conversion that would be scored Chunky Taamu on a carry. The Bruin would comfortably win 43-0.
