Youth Football

Ed Prince, a Seattle native and Franklin High School graduate, has led Northwest Premier Junior Football and Cheer for four years, focusing on community service and youth development, and has helped the league become a prominent force for youth sports in the Pacific Northwest.

Ratina Rose, a sideline coach for the Benson Bruins Cheer team, has spent over a decade mentoring and coaching young athletes, providing them with a structured, nurturing environment and helping them avoid dangerous situations.

Benson Bruins finished their regular season with a 21-0 victory over Rise Academy, led by Thomas "The Train" Marshall and Preston Hathaway, as they prepare for a third matchup against Heir and the playoffs.

The Benson Bruins completed an undefeated regular season with a 47-0 shutout victory over Rise Academy, thanks to strong performances from Jr Falefia, Silas Fuiava, Jayden Mendoza, and Ryan Cruz.

The Renton Rangers 6U team finished the regular season undefeated with a 44-0 victory over the Benson Bruins, showcasing their dominance and securing the top seed in the NW Premier Junior Football League's 6U division playoffs.

The 6U and 8U teams of the Benson Bruins, Renton Rangers, 5 Star Cougars, Rise Academy, Tac City Bolts, Parkland Raiders, B12 Bearcats, C2C Rams, CD Panthers, and NW Grizzlies all had successful games, with the Benson Bruins Rebel Boyz winning 41-6 against Rise Academy.

Patricia Cheid and Crystal Chatters, team moms for the Parkland Raiders, have made a significant impact on the success of the organization by providing support and guidance to the players and coaches, allowing them to focus on coaching and developing their skills and character.

The HEIR 13U Apex Predators defeated the Idaho Hit Squad 60-14, with seven players scoring touchdowns, while the Benson 14U Showtime Boyz clinched their playoff spot with a 19-8 victory over Gridiron.

HEIR 11U won their game against the Renton Rangers 60-0, with Loakima Faagai scoring a touchdown on an interception, while the Benson Bruins 12U defeated the Gridiron team 46-6, led by Kaiden Peterson-Leonardo's three rushing touchdowns.

NW Premier football teams played competitive games, with HEIR, Rise RED, the Plarkland Raiders, Five Star, NW Grizzles (9U) and the Benson Bruins adding wins to their columns, as they position themselves for a playoff spot.
